Consultation Guide
After you have decided what type of Feng Shui audit you need, you can book a consultation with us for either a Property or Personal Feng Shui Consultation.
Once we receive your booking following is a list of what you can expect and prepare for.
1. Property Feng Shui Consultation
We will firstly need some important property and occupant details from you which will be listed in the booking form.
These details are:
- Date that the property building was completed (year is usually sufficient)
- Date that you moved into the property (year is usually sufficient)
- Date, time & place of birth of all occupants. If the consultation is for a business, Date, time and place of birth of the owners and relevant staff will be needed.
- Details about any renovations or rehabilitations done to the property
- Details about any other historical events of the property
We will create your file, compile the above information and calculate the Gua numbers of the occupants prior to the consultation day.
Prior to the consultation day we will need you to have the following ready:
- We will require you to complete a Feng Shui Symptoms questionnaire (to be done before we arrive on the consultation day) A copy will be emailed to you after we receive your booking confirmation. This will help to give a view of the occupants' feelings in the current environment and any events they may have experienced personally.
- 2 x copies of the Property Plan - (letter or …..size)
- 2 x copies of the Floor Plan - (letter or …. Size)
- We also recommend that you and the other occupants of the property read our pages on the History and Types of Feng Shui prior to the consultation
On the day we will give you an introduction on Feng Shui and we will check that you have done your homework above! :
We will discuss the problems or situations you are experiencing as well as the activities of all the occupants to ensure that we match solutions to your needs.
After our discussion we will conduct an inspection of the property with you externally and internally. The reason for this is so that we can conduct a dynamic energy analysis of the property.
Once the property is visually assessed for the energy influences, a compass reading is then conducted.
The compass reading will determine which direction the property is facing which is the foundation for the creation of a Feng Shui chart. It is very important that the compass reading is accurate and that it is not influenced by metal or other influences that can disturb magnetic energy, therefore several readings may be done from different areas of the property.
A chart will then be drawn up so that a time space analysis commonly referred to as the Flying Stars can be done.
After the chart is created for the Property and Floor Plans, we analyze and provide recommendations to you for the layout, color and/or activities in and around your property.
We will then take photos of areas of the property that we will include in our audit report. (If you don't wish us to take photos, please let us know on the day)
Any other questions that you have will be answered on the day.
Once recommendations are given to you, we organize another visit usually within 1 month after the initial consultation. On the second visit we review the recommended changes you have made and asses the results of these changes with you.
You will also receive a full audit report from the first consultation which lists in writing the recommendations given.
The average time for the first consultation is approximately 3 hours and for the 2nd is approximately 1 hour. Please note that consultation times can vary depending on the size of the property and client needs.

2. Personal Feng Shui Consultation
We will firstly need some important details from you which will be listed in the booking form.
These details are:
- Date, time & place of birth of the person the consultation is for
- Details about any particular problems or situations that you are experiencing and advice required
We will create your file, compile the above information and commence our analysis.
The work we do for a Personal Consultation is split into two parts.
a) Pre consultation analysis
b) One on one consultation with client
Pre consultation
Full chart creation, interpretation and analysis which includes:
- Conversion of birth data into a Four Pillar Feng Shui Chart. This will list the 8 essential elements that form your unique chart.
- Interpretation of Personality via Chinese Animal analysis. You will have a more complex understanding of your 4 animal personality!
- Interpretation of elements, their strengths & weaknesses. What each element needs is different for each person.
- Interpretation of Day element and relationship of other elements to this element. Your day element requires unique activity; find out what you need for your personal success.
- Interpretation of the type of chart you possess. Certain configurations of charts lead to certain behaviors.
- Analysis of personality via element analysis. The elements hold the key to how you perform in your life and the choices you make.
- Analysis of personal relationships and their potential. This will give you an understanding of why you have the type of relationships you have.
- Analysis of current and future luck pillars and their influence on your chart. There are different element influences that come into our lives every 10 years, find out finally why you experienced the changes you have had in your life.
- Calculation of positive feng shui colors. These are excellent for personal success when attending meetings, interviews or practically any occasion.
- Calculations of positive feng shui orientations. These will help you to face directions that will support you rather than go against you especially when in an office or meeting.
- Interpretation of positive career areas. We are drawn to different careers and some of us change career paths, find out why.
- Analysis and interpretation of energy clashes. Sometimes we just can't figure out why we clash with certain people or situations, find out the reason why.
- Analysis and interpretation of special chart configurations which contribute towards and may reflect on your nature and personal luck. Some charts have other special aspects that add to our nature, understand it so that you can work with it.
- Analysis and interpretation of health aspects. Our health is most important, find out the areas of your body which need special care and attention.
All analysis and recommendations are written up manually in a full report prior to the one on one consultation.
We aim to do the above analysis within a 72 hour time frame which allows for any unforeseen delays. Please note that these charts are done manually without involvement of computer programs. The reason why, is that this type of analysis requires a dynamic understanding of the element relationships which is very complex and computer programs can't determine 100%.
One on One Consultation
After we have completed the analysis and report, we will contact you as to when you would like to have the one on one consultation either personally, via phone or internet video. (Please note: if you prefer a one on one meeting traveling charges may apply)
